Romania hosted 15th Annual Congress of ESPA
The Event took place in Baile Felix Resort, at Hotel International, between 4th- 7th May 2010.

JANUARY 2009
- Mr. Nicu Radulescu had an encounter with Mrs. Elena Udrea, the Minister of Tourism, when the main problems of the sector were debated;
- Mrs. Elena Udrea, the Minister of Tourism stated that “spa tourismis a national priority”
- During an informal meeting with the Associations, Mrs. Elena Udrea, the Minister of Tourism deecide to set up a Task Unit for tourism,
- The “campaign of special offers”, the “ Balneary Decade” and “A week for recovery in a spa resort” were finalized by a close cooperation of the members; the Programs were sent to all Associacions for valuation, and as well to the Press; the two offers are presented in attached documents;
Green Hotel in Romania too
Romania Green Building Council (RoGBC) is organising together with sopme association in turism (National Association of Travel Agencies, Romanian Spa Association, Rural-Cultural-Ecological Association etc.) and Turism Verde-association, the second conference "Green Hotels in Romania, too" on 28. Sept.2010

The Romanian Spa Organization iwill organise in the period 1-4th of October, the fourth edition of the most important event in the field of spa tourism : the Workshop and Forum for Balneary Tourism.
The event will be organized in Brasov, Complex Aro-Palace.
The Workshop and Forum for balneary tourism is included on the calendar of the event issued by the World Travel Organization.
Important personalities and specialists from Europe and from Romania will attend the event .

- In June trook place in Saturn, the annual General Reunion of the Romanian Spa and Balneary Association; by this occasion were discussed problems of common interest for the members and also for the sector.
New members were entered the family of the Romanian Spa Association :
- SC Baile Sarate - Sangiorgiu de Mures
- SC Omicron - Baile Olanesti
- SC Protestetica Sana - Cornu
Welcome in the family!
- At the begining of May, was organised in Yverdon les Baines, Swiss, the annual congres of ESPA. By this ocasion, Mr. Nicu Radulescu, the president of the Romanian Spa and Balneary Tourism was elected as vicepresident of the Managing Bord of ESPA.
His election is prouving the aprreciation of the potential in the fiel of balneary tourism as the activity of the Romanian association for promoting and development of this sector.
The Romanian balneary tourism was present at several exhibition in Europe : Munchen, Prag, Paris, Berlin, Milan, Moscow.
It was registred an increased request for the programms in the Romanian Spas, especially in Baile Felix, Calimanestiu-Caciulata, Geoagiu - Bai, Ocna Sibiului, Govora, Baile Herculane, etc.

Winter hollidays are run...
Back to work, prepared to start in the new year.
DECEMBER
As usually in the last time, the balneary tourism was one of the main subjects of the Romanian-Hungarian Governamental Joint Committe for Tourism, held in the period 12014 of December in Ocna sibiului.
The delegations were led by Mrs. Lucia Morariu - state secretary for tourism , representing the Romanian side and by Mr. Kovacs Miklos -state secretary for tourism for the Hugarian side.
An important delegation, led by Mr. Nicu Radulescu, president, representing the balneary tourism attended the meeting of the Hoint committe.
